Casa del Maestro, a housing development
created especially for teachers, has helped
decrease the attrition rate for new teachers in
the Santa Clara Unified School District.
For this and other attributes, such as its
design, financing structure, public/private
partnership and ability to be replicated,
the Thompson | Dorfman Partners LLC
project won the 2009 Jack Kemp Workforce
Housing Models of Excellence Award from
Urban Land Institute's Terwilliger Center for
Workforce Housing.
The project was designed by KTGY
Group.
