Keith Bloom, Managing Director of Development
Keith Bloom joined Thompson | Dorfman Partners, LLC in 2001. Prior to joining Thompson | Dorfman, he worked for 12 years in the affordable housing development and finance industries. From 1989 to 1999, Mr. Bloom served as project manager and director of development for Community Housing Opportunities Corporation, a nonprofit affordable housing developer headquartered in Davis. His responsibilities included site acquisition, due diligence, financial feasibility and affordability analysis, entitlement processing, debt and equity financing, construction and soft cost budgeting, and construction management. He has experience with numerous financing vehicles including tax-exempt bonds, low-income housing tax credits, and/or local, state, and federal public funding. During his tenure with Community Housing Opportunities Corporation, Mr. Bloom was responsible for the development of 10 affordable multi-family housing developments in several communities throughout the Sacramento area. Prior to joining Thompson | Dorfman Partners, Mr. Bloom was Vice President of Bank of America Community Development Bank in Sacramento where he underwrote, closed, and monitored construction and term financing for affordable housing developers throughout California.
Mr. Bloom obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Stanford University and received his MBA from the Graduate School of Management at the University of California at Davis.
